March, 2010 - NIA Creative Expands, Adding a Dedicated Studio Stage for Video and Photo Shoots
It's hard to believe that it has been 3 years since NIA relocated to Pleasanton. During this time, we've held on through the ups and downs
of the tumultuous economy, at times wondering if when our 3-year lease was up if we would need to downsize to conserve costs. Yet as it turns out, as we approach the 3-year mark, we now know that we need to expand rather than contract. With this in mind, we recently successfully negotiated terms that will enable us to lease additional space in the suite adjacent to ours.
Beginning April 1st, we will move our gear and server into a new large storage room, and we will set-up a permanent stage in our new warehouse. This will then open up the "flex space" in the back of our existing office so that we can bring in additional designers to round out our team. The new stage will make it easy for us to schedule last-minute video or photo shoots to better accommodate the needs of our customers.
NIA Creative Director Chris Finetti comments, "When we moved into our office 3 years ago, we had not anticipated how often we would be shooting here. Now it seems I'm shooting several times a month. While many of those shoots are at a customer location, we have also seen increased demand for shoots in a studio. We also do a fair amount of product photography and it will be great to have a dedicated studio to serve both of these needs.
