September, 2009 - NIA Creative Develops New Logo, Website and Collateral for the Marin Employment Connection

During these challenging economic times, the media spotlight has turned to local organizations who assist job seekers and businesses. Thanks to their new logo, website and collateral developed by NIA Creative, the Marin Employment Connection is able to shine even brighter.

Powered by the Workforce Investment Board (WIB) of Marin County, the Marin Employment Connection (MEC) is a critical partner in Marin County's economic growth and vitality; however, much of the community has remained unaware of their services. NIA Creative Managing Director Jennifer Finetti notes, "So many public sector / non-profit organizations attempt outreach efforts that unfortunately fall flat due to outdated or non-existent marketing and branding materials. But everything changes when an organization has a fresh look and new tools and resources to work with." NIA Creative began the process with the development of a marketing and branding strategy, followed by the development of key messaging that better articulated the MEC's mission, values and goals. The logo and color palette came next, followed by a photo shoot to capture client success story portraits, staff portraits and candids of staff and clients in the MEC. The logo, color palette and photography became the key elements upon which the website, trifold brochure, datasheet and e-blast were developed.
