February, 2006 - NIA Creative announces plans to develop heavier medical/biotech focus

NIA Creative has big plans for 2006. Hot on the heels of last year's merger with Critical Mass Media, NIA has decided to further evolve its rapidly growing healthcare focus into a new medical/biotech division. NIA has historically always had pharma, medical device and biotech clients; however, Critical Mass brought even greater experience and subject matter expertise via its long-term relationship with William Isaacs Health Communications, a Bay Area medical consultancy that began winding down operations in 2005.

In the past year, NIA has brought on a number of key accounts that helped to cement this decision, including Genentech, Kaiser Permanente, NuGEN Technologies, Biogen Idec, Revance Therapeutics and Dynatherm Medical. Areas of expertise include both professional and patient education, sales training, medical writing, product launches, etc.

Moving forward, NIA hopes to become a major player in the healthcare marketing sector throughout the Bay Area and beyond, while still maintaining a strong emphasis in technology, telecom, consumer electronics and training/education.
